A meeting between diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Republic of Tanzania and the leadership of the Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) took place at the Chamber’s headquarters.
During the meeting, the Embassy conveyed an official message from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposing to establish direct bilateral cooperation between the respective institutions and business communities of the two countries.
An important part of the meeting was the official introduction of the Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Andrii Nesterenko. The Embassy had the opportunity to present him to the President of TNCC, Mr. Vicent Bruno Minja, after which Mr. Nesterenko personally presented his certificate of appointment.
The Ukrainian side also shared a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TNCC, which is seen as a practical tool for developing cooperation, including through information exchange, organization of business missions, joint events, and the establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expressed their interest in further developing the partnership.
