Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mariana Betsa, held a phone conversation with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, Ambassador Dr. Samwel William Shelukindo.

The sides discussed key issues of bilateral engagement and cooperation within international organizations, particularly UNESCO.

Focus of the Dialogue:

- Exchange of views on further steps to intensify bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Tanzania based on respect for the fundamental principles of international law.

- Coordination of cooperation within UNESCO and other international organizations.

- Confirmation of Ukraine's constructive commitment to deepening a comprehensive dialogue with Tanzania.

Ukraine considers Tanzania a promising partner in East Africa and seeks to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
